November 27, 2016 - Today we returned to the Homestead-Miami Speedway for the 2nd year. After starting last the #36 Pro Truck found itself p2 when the checkered flag was flying. Thank you to the Southern Pro Am Truck Series for the opportunity to run the high banks of the NASCAR turns 3&4, what an experience. With the support of my Mom and Dad, brother Ross Chastain, grandparents, cousins Rachel and Glen, Bryce Dearstyne, and Kristen we sure gave it our best to beat the competition.
We did not run a whole lot of races over the past year but when we did, they knew we were there. From adding to my wins list at Desoto Speedway to winning on the historic Sebring International Raceway! I also got the chance to spot for my brother as the secondary spotter at Indianapolis Motor Speedway & Watkins Glen International. However, the most nervous I've ever been was when the JD Motorsports team gave me the full responsibility of spotting at Iowa Speedway. Thank you to the team for allowing me to do that. I look forward to big things next year, but this year would not of been possible without the support of JDI Farms, Melon 1, Earth Tech Environmental LLC, crashclaimsr.us, L&S Cable, Fort Myers Marine, Helena & Superior Bearing & Supply this year.
